The Aegis Shield® app allows users to scan product labels on supplements to find out if they contain substances that are banned by major sports organizations like the NCAA or NFL. Darkstar worked with Aegis Sciences Corporation to redesign and expand the capabilities of Aegis Shield® and more visually appealing to fitness and sports professionals.
Darkstar also made the Aegis Shield® website more responsive and accessible to users on devices ranging from smartphones and tablets up to large resolution desktop monitors and HD televisions.

Just one month after launching the new website, traffic jumped 1300% on the Aegis Shield® website, with almost 90% of the traffic coming from search engines.

After we overhauled the existing Aegis Shield® database, the time to generate some reports dropped from about 12 hours down to around 6 seconds.

The growing Aegis Shield® database currently stores information about 150,000 products; including images, ingredients, and detailed warnings and statements.
